If you want a “quick and fun” warm up – try the Poniente Executive course. A par 3 and par 4 course you can play in three hours or less. A buggy is necessary and included in the green fee, as the course is extremely hilly! Both courses are Jack Nicklaus design and are of fairly recent date. For both these courses call +34 96 681 3013. Discount green fee checks can be had through the golf store in Altea, Golf Med, phone 965 84 38 64. But regardless – playing here is really something to treat yourself to! The services around the club, club-house and hotels especially, are also first class. Web: www.melia.com
